Refund & Cancellation Policy
Social Welfare Association values every contribution made towards our social initiatives. This policy outlines the terms regarding donation refunds and cancellations.
❤️ Non-Refundable Donations
As per standard non-profit organization guidelines, all voluntary financial contributions and donations made to Social Welfare Association are considered final and non-refundable. Once a donation is processed, it is immediately allocated toward charitable causes, medical relief, and social welfare projects.
🔄 Duplicate or Accidental Transactions
We understand that technical glitches or genuine human errors can happen during online payments. Refunds will only be considered under the following special circumstances:
- Duplicate Charges: If a donor is charged twice for a single transaction due to a technical/network error.
- Unauthorized/Accidental Transaction: If an unintended amount was entered due to a technical error during payment gateway processing.
📩 How to Request a Refund
If you experience a duplicate charge, you must submit a formal refund request within 7 days of the transaction date.
To process your request, please email us at info@socialwelfareassociation.org with the following details:
- Full Name of the Donor
- Date and Time of Transaction
- Transaction Amount & Payment ID / Order ID (from Razorpay)
- Proof of payment (Bank Statement screenshot or Payment Receipt)
- Reason for requesting the refund
⏳ Processing Time & Mode of Refund
Once your refund request is received and verified by our finance team, we will notify you regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, the refund will be credited back to the original payment method (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI) used during transaction within 7 to 10 working days via our payment gateway partner (Razorpay).
❌ Cancellation Policy
Donations made through our website cannot be canceled once the payment processing is completed. If you have set up a recurring payment (if applicable) and wish to cancel future recurring donations, you can contact us at least 3 business days before the next billing cycle.
